New Year’s Resolution: I Resolve to Do...Nothing. (Except This.)

Every New Year, we’re bombarded with messages to improve, to change, to push harder and be “better.”
But this year?
We’re doing something revolutionary.
This year, my resolution is to change absolutely nothing about myself—except how I see myself.
✨ I’m not cutting carbs.
✨ I’m not waking up at 5 a.m.
✨ I’m not chasing perfection or productivity.
Instead, I’m gently releasing the pressure to perform and the stories that say I need to be someone different to be loved.
This year, I want to:
-
Let go of the dusty opinions and old expectations that don’t belong to me.
-
Stop holding my reflection up to someone else’s standard.
-
Peel back the filters of judgment, and finally see myself clearly - as lovable, worthy, and enough. Right now.
This isn’t about becoming a “new me.”
It’s about remembering the real me. The soft, silly, strong, imperfect, beautiful mess that I already am.
So here’s to the un-resolutions:
To being instead of fixing.
To loving instead of judging.
To giggling through the mess and holding ourselves gently.
Because sometimes the boldest change is choosing not to change at all.
Just to love.
Exactly. As. You. Are.
with love,
