Why I Created the Father's Day Coloring Pages & Keepsake Gift Pack

One of the things I love about children's gifts is that they come from a completely different economy.

Kids don't measure value in dollars.

They measure it in crayons, effort, imagination, and time.

That's why a coloring page can sit on a refrigerator for years.

A handmade coupon promising to help rake leaves can become a treasured keepsake.

And a slightly crooked drawing can mean more than something purchased from a store.

Children want to participate in gift giving.

They want to create something.

They want to surprise the people they love.

The challenge is that most children don't have jobs, credit cards, or spending money. They're completely dependent on the adults around them to help make special occasions happen.

That's one of the reasons I created our free Father's Day Coloring Pages & Keepsake Gift Pack.

I wanted children to have a way to celebrate Dad that felt meaningful, personal, and entirely their own.

Inside the pack are coloring pages, keepsake activities, and printable coupons designed to help children celebrate Dad in their own way.

Some children may pair them with a purchased gift.

Some may serve Dad breakfast in bed.

Some may tuck a coloring page beside his morning coffee.

And for some families, the printable itself may be the gift.

All of those are wonderful.

Because Father's Day isn't really about how much money gets spent.

It's about helping the people we love feel appreciated.

It's about saying:

"Thank you."

"I love you."

"I'm glad you're my dad."

Life is expensive right now.

Schedules are busy.

And sometimes holidays sneak up on us faster than we'd like.

I wanted to create something that could be printed at home, colored at the kitchen table, and given with pride—without requiring a shopping trip, a craft store run, or a complicated project.

Just paper.

Crayons.

Creativity.

And love.

The pages were designed for Father's Day, but honestly, many of them work just as well for Dad's birthday or any day a child wants to remind someone they care.

At Ploppals, we believe encouragement matters.

We believe kindness matters.

And we believe children feel good about themselves when they're given opportunities to create, contribute, and bring joy to someone else.

That's what this printable is really about.

Not perfection.

Not spending.

Just giving children a simple way to say:

"You matter."

And sometimes, that's the most meaningful gift of all.
